Tradition is an important source of professional competence of KONČAR's employees.

The beginning of the present day KONČAR dates from 1921, when a modest but at the time highly significant manufacture of electrical motors commenced in Zagreb. The production continued to develop in terms of production program and scope of production under brand names of Elektra, Siemens, Rade Končar, to finally arrive at KONČAR's own brand name as known today. The brand, which is known and recognizable on all continents, steadily and firmly builds its reality on the foundations of tradition, knowledge, experience and vision.

Long-term vision is founded upon basic business principles of Concern's work under modern conditions imposed by the world market, in which KONČAR's plants and products have taken a firm and lasting position.
